Welcome to the website of the Reigate Grammar School Model United Nations Organisation (ReiMUN).

The main purposes of this website are (a) to provide resources and information to help students involved in MUN to prepare for conferences, and (b) to provide information about forthcoming ReiMUN conferences to visiting schools.

Reigate Grammar School hosts two conferences each year.  We host our main conference in the autumn term the precise date varies from year to year, but always falls on a Saturday between September 20th and October 14th.  This is a one-day conference, with four or five committees plus a Security Council.  Around sixty countries are represented.  Delegations are of four students (five for SC countries), with an entry fee of £20 per delegate.  This conference attracts many experienced delegates, but is also accessible to inexperienced and first-time delegates.  This conference is now in its 16th year.  For information on the next ReiMUN, click here.

In 2011 we introduced a new ‘Junior ReiMUN’ conference on the final Saturday in June.  This conference is aimed at first-time delegates or those with less than a year’s experience, and includes training and coaching in debating and resolution-writing skills, as well as the opportunity to practise these skills.  The conference also aims to train advisors in how to set up an MUN club in their school, how to coach their students to prepare for conferences and how to start their own conference.  Around twenty countries are represented, and there are three committees.  The entry fee is £12 per delegate.  Following the success of our first Junior ReiMUN conference, we hope to make this a regular annual event.  For information on the next Junior ReiMUN, click here.

The links at the side will take you to pages to help you with whichever aspect of MUN you need help with.  The summary below gives you a guide to the rest of the site:
